“I will get this done for America – to make our people safer, smarter and healthier.”

This is the AmeriCorps pledge and the commitment I made to myself when I joined the VISTA corps in 2008. Since then, it has been a guiding principle in my life and the common thread throughout my career in project management, marketing and communications—within the government and nonprofit sectors.

My various positions have equipped me to handle a range of public relations and marketing aspects—from helping to create campaign strategies to drafting press materials to increasing social media following in a way that is impactful for any business or non-profit. And I’ve posted some of my work here.

Most recently, I’ve put my entrepreneurial spirit to the test not only by being a freelance communications consultant but by launching two companies—an online e-commerce company and a technology and marketing consulting firm.
